Questions from tonight's workshop:
Where do you draw from for your inspiration?
Where/when did you come up with your current idea for Nano?
Find 1-3 pictures of what you imagine your setting to look like.
How do the characters look? You can find one picture per character or a group shot to simply capture the essence of characters.
What is the "theme" song for your story?
Feel free to answer and share on the board!

Additional inspiration activities:
Create a playlist for your novel. Start with your theme song and incorporate more songs that inspire your story.
Create an inspiration board - use pictures, quotes, words, and more to create a college to hang near your writing area. Look at it when you're needing inspiration.
Create an inspiration jar. Include pictures, quotes, inspiring activities (I.E. take a walk, listen to this song, watch a movie, take a bath). Make sure everything you include in it is folded up. Put it all in a jar and draw from that jar any time you hit writer's block.
Do one (or all) of these activities in October to help prevent writer's block in November!
