Okay, being in uni as of now, I don't do much cooking: I generally cook something that I can have in different meals, or make simple sandwiches, etc. If you roast a good sized chicken, that's one meal. With the leftovers, make sandwiches, or maybe put some of the chicken with mushroom sauce. Now, if it was REALLY BIG, you will still have leftovers. Those, put into curry, which as you might know, can be even eaten the day later. So, if done right: Roast Chicken Chicken Sandwich Curry And why not, the same curry but with noodles now, or however you please. This idea is for the main meal of the day: breakfast is generally covered by cereals or other things, and the other meal can be, as I said, something lighter. PD: if you are alone, several products can be used in separate occasions. I bought two pork loins, I happily had in different days. To make it more exciting the second day, I added some garlic

I think that's a great idea, Miles!
A crock pot works great too. You can set it and forget it, and you'll probably have leftovers. Another idea is to make ahead and freeze your meals.
