Okay, so let's talk fanfiction. Yeah, it may not be published because of copyright and other various issues, but admit it, most of us write some type of fanfic, or have at one point. Whether it's the ending to that movie that you hated and you rewrote, or finishing a TV show that totally left you hanging for the summer (or forever!), or a universe of a fictional series you read and you just have to explore the other characters, or those celebs you just totally crush on. You've either dreamed it, or you actually wrote it.
So to start, what's your fandom of choice?
Mine: Backstreet Boys (yes, I know, it kind of dates me) and I'm kind of thinking "Star Crossed", if it comes out on DVD may need some DECENT fanfiction. Totally left me hanging! Dang people who don't renew GOOD TV shows! I've also got a few other fandoms I dabble in. I've got a "Fringe" fiction in the works right now.

STAR WARS! Always Star Wars.
I have this running story/series that I work on based on the Knights of the Old Republic games. I've been writing this stuff since long before TOR came out, so it basically ignores TOR canon and the Revan novel. I've got stuff planned out for 20 years after the first game. It's... extensive.

Ah, Animorphs. One of the best series I read as a child. Absolutely fantastic, and surprisingly dark at times for a children's series. I keep meaning to reread them and see if they hold up. I suspect they will. I've never actually read any fanfic for it, though. I should probably amend that.

I moved on from fan fiction (nothing wrong with it...I just got into original stuff), but back in the day, I had fan fictions about FreakyLinks, Scrubs, 10 Things I Hate About You, House, The Office (that one is still up on fanfiction.com I believe...but heck if I remember my user name), *N Sync, and was plotting cross-overs between The Office and The West Wing (the Office characters were the characters on the West Wing) and between House and Scrubs (both sets of characters). I actually kind of miss it...especially my FreakyLinks story.

I write Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Supernatural, Criminal Minds, Glee, and Queer as Folk.
I used to write anime fanfiction, but I no longer watch it, never mind write it.

I would think Criminal Minds would be difficult fanfiction to write well...especially if you were focusing on writing with a case. I've tried and it's always been difficult!

I usually don't do case fics or that reason. When I write CM, I focus on episode tags or something completely unrelated to a case. My stories tend to be character driven instead of plot driven.

I've done Star Trek fics, X-Men, LOTR...
And on a Yahoo list I'm on we right 'houses'...where a human is in charge of a collection of clones (characters from books, film, tv...an occasional clone of a real person)...so some of those are sorta fanfiction like...major crossovers between any imaginable sort of pairing...)
