Sup? I'm Kat, a.k.a housekat. I am obsessed with House (even though it ended like 2 years ago) and I'm Kat, so there ya go. Sometimes I add 29 to it. I was born on June 29th, so it's become my favorite number. I love music and am flipping between 80s music (because it's the BEST. That it all.) and 'Sing' by Ed Sheeran. I have at least 20 playlists on Spotify. I created a playlist for my "current" WIP (been working on it since 01) with over 200 songs. I seem to add to it everyday. Back on planet Earth, my favorite bands and singers are Imagine Dragons, Gavin DeGraw, John Mayer, Maroon 5, Daughtry, Matchbox 20, Katy Perry, 3 Doors Down, Paramore, Colbie Caillat and Savage Garden (they broke up tho  )...to name more than a few. If I'm not writing (I feel guilty if I'm not, so it doesn't happen too often), I'm usually watching Netflix. Someone turned me on to Breaking Bad, so I'm all caught up in that. My not-to-be-missed shows are The Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds, 2 Broke Girls, Law & Order: SVU, and Bates Motel. Other than all that, my life is bor--I mean, quiet. Just me and my kitty  |

I also love criminal minds, but they didn't put it on demand until late this season so I missed all of this season.  I also missed all of big bang theory, even though it was on demand. I'm a single mom of 2 little kiddos, so I have to really pick and choose what I try to catch up on as I don't get much time to do so. So I went with glee, since it's ending after next season. I also watched a couple of new shows, almost human and star crossed. Both are not coming back next year. I used to love House, until he started dating Cuddy, then I quit watching. But I pretty much loved an episode of House with my daughter, so sometimes going back and watching certain episodes are painful, or hilarious, like the one where the mom almost drowns the baby and chase is in the NICU. |

I missed a few eps of Criminal Minds, plus the second part of the season finale...gah! I also missed the season finale of Big Bang. I had like 4 or 5 eps of suits on my aunt's DVR, and since I moved out last week, I can pretty much guarantee she erased all of my stuff (we didn't part on good terms)
I watched an episode of BBC's Almost Human. It was good...but I'm just not into other worldly creatures or fantasy/alternate universe. If it doesn't exist in reality, I can't wrap my head around it and don't enjoy it. I did like FreakyLinks, however, and wrote a pretty extensive fan fiction about it. Wish it lasted longer than one season.
I have all 8 seasons of House, but I tend to avoid the House/Cuddy ones...it was too boring once they got together. But House never stopped being House, and once they broke up, it was better.
I used to watch Glee, in fact I have the first season on DVD, but one episode focused too much on sex. Sorry Gwyneth Paltrow, but high schoolers don't need to be told that they can do whatever they want with whoever they want. Also, they really amped up the gay thing...I'm not judging, but I don't like it shoved in my face, either...I can watch The L Word for that.
I started watching Scandal on Netflix. I really like it. Since I don't have cable, I use Netflix and these shows keep popping up, so I try them.

Almost Human on Fox was about a cop and an android. It was AWESOME! They canceled it. It starred the guy who played Bones in the new Star Trek movies (Karl Urban?). I guess it frees him up to do more Star Trek movies. =)
I do remember the Almost Human BBC show with the vampire and the werewolf and the ghost. I liked it. But then I saw SyFy made it into an American version. Not nearly as good.
I'm currently watching The X-Files and Star Trek DS9 on Netflix DVD. I've got an X-Files DVD sitting here to watch.

Welcome Kat.
Best episode of House, IMO, is House vs God. His ego in that one is hilarious and it's the episode that finally got my grandmother into it (she had our only connect tv so if she didn't like it, we couldn't watch it).
Next favorite is House's head and Wilson's Heart.
Third in line is Linss in the Sand. I love how he seemed to be able to connect with the patient when no one else could.

I cannot pick one favorite episode of House. I love (mostly) all of them for different reasons. I used to say Birthmarks -- because House and Wilson "got back together". Those two really crack me up. House vs. God was good. In Lines, always re-watch the part where he's acting like a preacher -- so funny. I could go on for hours, but I'll spare you... |

Big hair bands. when i was in the hospital a few months ago, i watched almost an entire season of best ink...i enjoyed it quite a bit. I haven't run across anyone else who likes 2 Broke Girls |
