So my MC is is finally having a face-off with her father, and there's one thing I'm hesitating on. But to ask for help I need to give a little background.
In this world, the Spirit Weilders have contracts with Spirit Chara's that focuses on one single trait and that trait is used to strengthen the wielders and could be used to destroy the others. The MC has the trait as bloodletting (which could be triggery in a way so...) but then we have others like her sisters who have knowledge and innocence, and her brother who has honor.
Parents have some but not all influence on what the children have as traits and with this MC her father is death and her mother sacrifice.
and here's where im stuck. while chara's are their own little people (except for the old pupil-less eyes which tends to distinguish them and get them named demons) they also have a secondary shape. for blood it is a scythe, for knowledge a book, etc.
but since we're having a face-off against a wielder of death, that would mean a second scythe and i cant quite figure out how to make it its own (seing as the best variations are owned my my fave anime series). the only alt i could thing of is a little less physical where it would touch the 'soul' and eat its death... or something. I know its alot but any suggestions?

It might actually be nice to have it be really similar. You'd be able to point out some good symmetry with her and her father like that. I'm assuming that her father is an antagonist, based on what you've said. I find that I often like it when authors draw a lot of parallels between their antagonists and protagonists. It could maybe have a slightly different color scheme, or maybe a second blade coming from the other end in the other direction (kind of like a "Z" shape, almost), but it might be worthwhile to make them similar.
